As the CEO of Platinum Real Estate and a real estate professional for over twenty years, I used a lot of trial and error before I finally figured out how to become the million dollar producer I am today. While, as I’ve said in other posts, I believe that real estate is an ideal industry for hard-working, sociable people who want to take control of their own professional destiny, I also know firsthand how many mistakes can be made when an agent is just starting out. There are certainly obstacles along the path to real estate success – and this is why I regularly host workshops and give talks about how to avoid common pitfalls in real estate, as well as how to develop your real estate skills to the degree that you, too, can become a million dollar producer.

With the right training, your deals will close so quickly that you’ll be taking down the “For Sale” sign right after you put it up.

I felt I should write a post here on my blog discussing an upcoming workshop of mine so that you can get a greater understanding of the value and impact that my workshops can have on agents and real estate laypeople alike. So, without further adieu, here is a brief rundown of what you can expect to get out of my upcoming workshop, “Perfecting Your Pitch: Negotiation & Salesmanship Workshop.”

The event will be taking place from 9:00am to 5:15pm on Saturday, July 23rd, and it is being held at The Cobb Galleria Centre (located at 2 Galleria Parkway Southeast, Atlanta, GA, 30339). The topic on the agenda for this event is how to improve agents’ negotiation and sales skills so that they can begin closing every deal and living up to the potential as million dollar producers. Fundamentally, if you as an agent don’t have strong enough persuasion or negotiation skills, you are losing out on money and deals that likely could have been closed with the right technique. Frustratingly, these are not skills that are taught in schools, which means that many people miss out on great professional opportunities because of their lack of knowledge about the human dynamics involved in negotiation.

It’s my mission to educate my workshop attendees about how to negotiate successfully, and I’ll be doing this on July 23rd by presenting my thoughts and information on this topic, then running through activities together so my attendees can get hands-on experience practicing these skills and receive real-time feedback about where they’re succeeding and where there’s still room for improvement. Some topics covered that day will be: tips for how to ask and negotiate a deal, helpful tactics to win your clients’ trust, and how to develop a winning attitude and close more deals as a result.

I’m very excited about this upcoming workshop, as it is sure to be tremendously helpful to those who choose to attend. This workshop will benefit everyone from real estate agents who are dissatisfied with their current conversion rates, to real estate veterans who want to brush up on their negotiation skills in the new, contemporary real estate landscape. If you live in the Atlanta area, I urge you to RSVP yes to my event here – you’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain from attending, and I hope to see you there!
